I've been a journalist since 1979 and worked at the Globe from May 1984 until the day they closed the doors. Since then I've worked in Greeley, Colo., Reno, Nev., and suburban Los Angeles. I've been with the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin in Ontario, Cal., for 18 years, first as a sportswriter, then as a columnist and now as business editor. I was a sportswriter at the Globe covering Mizzou basketball.
