May 22 Reunion
If you didn't attend, you missed a great and nostalic event. A tip of my old Globe-Democrat baseball cap to the organizing committee and especially to the generous couple who made their home available for a gathering of what used to be an unruly crowd.
reunion booklet
I loved the reunion booklet. I didn't make the reunion (cataract surgery -- can you believe it? A kid like me?), but I laughed myself silly reading Mike Montgomery's bio. Thanks to all the wonderful people who helped put the booklet together. One bio I couldn't find was Candy ??? -- and now I can't remember Candy's last name. She was a copy editor at the Globe, too, and she always made me laugh and feel good, especially the day I surprised her outside the outhouse in the Rocky Mountain National Park. I thought the lady I saw go into the outhouse was Candy, so I went up, pounded on the door, and whined, "Hurry up! I gotta pee!" Sure glad it turned out to be Candy. Does anyone know what's become of her?
Candy
That's it, Vic. Of course you would know. I should have e-mailed you to start. Thanks; that answers the first part of my question.

reunion
I felt immediately at home when I arrived at the reunion. It's been 19 or so years, but the spirit of The Globe staff was (and is) as strong as ever. What a sense of renewal! It felt good! I could only stay for a short time because I had a flight to catch back to Tucson, AZ, but I look forward to seeing you all again. We plan to move back to St. Louis by 2007.
